Teaching different languages.

Post  Gardevoir on Sun Jul 12, 2009 9:13 pm

I want to teach other languages to other people so I created a topic for it.

Use any language and then translate it to english.
Please put the pronounciation to the word or words and feel free to type it in that language if you can.

Exp. yi _ (e) : 1

Some of the best Spanish translations:

queso (KAY-so) = cheese
(CHOO-puh-choop) = lollipop
autobus (OW-to-boos) = bus

Not sure how lollipop is spelled in Spanish. Neutral

Okay. Try counting in Chinese to 10.

yi (e) = 1
er (ar) = 2
san (saun) = 3
si (ss) = 4
wu (woo) = 5
liu (leo) = 6
qi (chee) = 7
ba (ba) = 8
jiu (geo) = 9
shi (shi) = 10

here are the symbols. I can't show the symbol for 4,5,6,8, and 9
_ - = t +

detras de (day-TRAHS day) = behind
a la izquierda de (ah la ees-kee-AIR-duh day) = to the left of
a la derecha de (ah la day-RAY-chuh day) = to the right of
cerca de (SAYR-kuh day) = close to
lejos de (LAY-hos day) = away from
